Our week in a nutshell!

This past weekend we tried to have a BBQ/pool party with Dave, Brandy, Kim and Brett and their kids.
Apparently, the rain Gods thought otherwise. We BBQ'd anyway and just visited while taking turns holding Dylan. And Daisy and Logan shared a dance
While Chloe gave Spike a make-over.

Today was Logan's and my last day of school. Everyone was very generous with their goodbye gifts, but this was the best gift ever. The little girl who gave me this one was my absolute favorite in the class. Such a doll. A tiny little thing who loved gymnastics. I actually cried a little when we said goodbye.

Logan's class brought in McDonald's for their last day.
So I made them a hamburger cake. The kids thought it was pretty cool.

As you can see I tried to incorporate Logan's class theme onto the cake.
(yes, I made him out of fondant)
Here's to a hoppy summer!

It has been a terrific year. I never thought that being a preschool teacher would be something I'd like to do, but it's worked out wonderfully. I really have enjoyed myself and have learned so much from, Barb, my lead teacher. And while I am extremely grateful for everything she has taught me, I'm very excited to be taking over lead teacher in my own classroom next year. (For those who know me, know I don't really do well when I'm not calling the shots). The best part is that I'll have another year with Logan before he heads off to kindergarten.

We're hosting a summer celebration pool party for all the teachers and their families from the preschool this Sunday.

Keep your fingers crossed it doesn't rain.
