Captain and the geeks

Logan stepped into the Captain role for his team last Saturday, leading his team to victory (we think - we're not supposed to keep score). He scored two goals and had several break aways. We were very proud. Oh, and did we mention we are geeks, (no doubt most of you have already figured this out) To reaffirm this, here's a picture of our salad. We were so proud that we made it from lettuce from our garden, we just had to take a picture.
Yes, I know. Total geeks.

Tell me again why you don't recycle?

No beaches left to play upon, or stars to see to wish upon.
No meadows left to run, days spent shielded from the sun.
No clean water, no clean earth, only trash and smog to show our worth.
We have done this to our home, with the carelessness that we've shown.
Our Earth is dying. There is no excuse.
Nothing we say, will explain our abuse.
But the sentence does not go to us to serve
But to our future, our children.
IS this what they deserve?
