FINALLY!

Logan has finally lost his first tooth.  This was 5 days ago.  He had yet to put his tooth under his pillow.
He says he's just not ready.
At the rate we are going, the tooth fairy will probably be using a walker to deliver his money.

The most perfect moon

Indubitably, there was never a more perfect moon to guide you away from us.
A Super Moon and a meteor shower at that.
We were so very lucky to have you in our lives.

Camping at Cagle

It's taken me awhile to be able to post these pictures.  One, because my darn computer is freaking out and it is very difficult to post pictures right now (we're hoping to get it fixed soon...ie:  ask Gary for help!) And two, because I thought I killed Sadie on this trip.  She is very old and has a bad heart.  We took her on our nature walk with us and I think it did her in.  After a trip to the emergency vet Sunday morning while everyone was asleep back at camp and several days and keeping an eye on her, she seems to be doing just fine.  So now I can update this post, quilt free (well, almost).

Our campsite.
One of the wild animals we encountered.
A wood cutting lesson with the boys
My men.

And the rest?  Just plain fun.

Spring Pictures

Each year the backgrounds get more and more bizarre.

But, no matter.
Nothing can distract from my gorgeous children!!

Summer is just around the corner!

Chloe and Logan enjoying some ice cream in the shade with friends!
Yep, it's beginning to look like summer!
God help us!

Chloe's attempt at flashing the PEACE sign....

As you can see, she hasn't got the hang of it just yet....

Easter Brunch!

We hosted Easter Brunch and the day could not have been more beautiful.
After stuffing ourselves, we watched the kids hunt for eggs.
It really was a perfect day to be with our family and friends.

Watch out snakes...Shelby is on the job!

Turns out Shelby is pretty fierce when she wants to be!  She took on this little guy...
He was only about a foot and a half long, but that's about a half a foot longer than she is, so I was impressed.
After determining that the snake was a harmless Texas brown snake, we sent him on his way in the field behind us.   You know summer is on it's way when the snakes start showing up!
