I really love these kids!

An update . . .Finally!

Okay, so this is what we've been up to . . .

Logan found his dream truck. The kids were very proud and thrilled with the frog they found.
The frog wasn't as thrilled.

A special little boy celebrated his first birthday.

Everyone had a great time at the big birthday bash.

Check out the awesome cake Brandy made.

I was guaranteed that the fish would find safe and loving homes after the party.

And, of course, Dawn and I had to have a little fun too!

Logan had another soccer game.

After a quick pep talk from the coach

and a little encouragement to his team mates

He and A.J were ready to rock that field!

It was an extra special game since Grandpa and Grandma were here

to watch.

And then came the tickling. Yes, Logan was in seventh heaven

Keith and Kathy, you really need to come more often. This was the easiest Logan has gone down in a long time.

We also took in the local crawfish festival.

After a little face painting

and a lot of crawfish

(None for me, thank you. I had frito pie.)

We enjoyed a little Cajun music, complete with a washboard/spoon solo.

On our way out, we spotted this store. Gave me a little giggle so I had to take a picture.

On Sunday we headed to Salt Grass for a good steak.

Keith and Kathy's neighbor has been singing the praise of Salt Grass for a long time and they were happy to finally see what all the fuss was about.

We was a wonderful way to end a really great visit!
