Red Tips in the house

Chloe and Logan tested and received their Red Tip belts last night.   They
did so awesome.  A couple of parents actually were commenting on just how good
they both were.   Even Master Cho agreed.  He hands out two awards for the best
students of the night.  One went to a 2nd degree black belt.  The second went to both
Chloe and Logan.

They were told they should be ready to test for their brown belt in June and then
 Black in November.
Then I think we get some kind of home insurance discount for having two black belts in the house.  Or so I hear.

Logan's DI competition

Logan was selected to represent his school in the annual DI (Destination Imagination) competition.
They worked hard for several months and competed against all the schools in our county.
The team had chosen the most difficult challenge and we weren't sure how they would place, being that they competed against 3rd - 5th graders.
Their theme was Minecraft and they had to design tools that could detect objects in 16 different containers, remove those objects and transport them across a finish line 10 feet away.
They designed this awesome conveyor belt, it was pretty impressive.
(Logan is in the light blue shirt)

We were excited to learn they won 2nd place.
They had a celebration at school a few days later.

Logan said he wants to do this every year!

The Woodlands Crawfish festival 2014

Craig got tickets to the Crawfish festival, where his company was hosting a tent.
While it's not really my thing, the kids had a blast.

We met up with some TKD friends and let the kids walk around, completely on their own with food and drink tickets.  A new thing for them.

As you can see, they managed to hit up every tent and get every piece of swag that was given out.

Chloe, a style icon.

So Chloe has been asking to dye her hair for years.
 I finally agreed.
(How could I not, after remembering my own Sun In days)

She loves it!
And,yes, it's permanent
