All about the girl!

This past week, Logan was at Dinosaur camp during the day, so Chloe and I had some good ol' bonding time. We started off with a trip to Splash Town with Sophie.
Chloe is the one dangling from the rope line. Can I just say, my girl rocks. There are big floating things, like the snake, in the water below the line that the kids use to help scoot across the line. Well because Chloe is so tiny, she can't reach them. Not that she needed too. She just swung across all on her own. All the moms watching were so impressed since she was the only one who did it like that while we were watching.
Like I said, she rocks.
The next day we headed out for a spa pedicure and some lunch. We ended up taking our Subway sandwiches over to the water way by the mall. Under the bridge we found a spot where there are these great little alcoves decorated with mosaics. The perfect spot to have lunch. It was really cool and quiet. And, as luck would have it, we made a few friends
Chloe, of course, had her own special way of communicating with them.
Although, it could have been the bread we were throwing too.
There were big ol' catfish and ducks too, but this guy was our favorite.

Another great day!
We ended our week with a trip to the movies to meet up with a hunky vampire and one very hot wolf. Don't worry, it was nothing scandalous! Craig took the day off and joined us. Afterwards, we hit Subway again and took Craig to our new secret spot at the water way. And, much to our delight, our turtle friend was back. We named him Carlos.
On Sunday, we packed up our little beauty and trucked her off to Girl Scout Camp with Daisy.
To say they were excited would be the understatement of the year.
Here they are getting settled into their cabin.

Their cabins were a set of three tree houses.
They were so cool, it made me wish I was going to camp there!
Well, it did, right up until the time the freakishly strong thunder storm hit.
It's actually been raining almost none stop since we dropped them off.
Good thing their bunks are 20 feet off the ground.
Their camp session is called Water Frolic . . . .
Never was there a more fitting title!
And that's it. Chloe will be at camp all week. Hopefully I'll do better this year. Last time she went to camp it killed me.
Logan and I will be heading to Splash Town (Well, that is if it ever stops raining!) and enjoying a few days of mommy-son bonding.

The "girl time" looked awfully fun! Chloe is so lucky to have a great friend she gets to go to camp with. Here's hoping for dry weather!
