The beginning of August, we started our journey to cooler weather, aka Grandma and Grandpas house in Oregon. We had a long lay over in Salt Lake, so Grandpa Keith and Grandma Kathy picked us up and took us home for a short, but very nice visit.
The kids loved raiding the vegetable garden with Grandpa.
And the boys even found time for a quick Frisbee game.
(Craig and Logan have been practicing for awhile now and Logan is getting quite good!)
It was very bitter sweet. We loved being there but it reminded us just how much we missed our Utah family!
But, back to the plane we went.
I guess Logan and I passed out at some point because I later found this gem of a pic on my camera.
And when we saw this, we knew we were almost there!
This was our view of Mt. Hood from the plane.
Pretty spectacular, right!?!
